A st Louis family favorite. Steaks with provel cheese melted on top, amazing salad, side of pasta with most meals... it's the way to really eat and love life. Cute town, historic buildings rebuilt after a bad fire years back.

Our server experience was very nice. One of the ladies was in training so we had two waiting on us. The decor is very, very dated. The tables would look and feel a lot better without the old plastic table cloths. They were kind of grungy. Aside from the decor, the food was excellent for the most part. The spinach and artichoke dip was one of the best I've ever had. I enjoyed the homemade chips, but I found what appeared to be two eyelashes on the chips. I'm not referring to the seasoning either. I made due because other than that it was delicious. I enjoyed a pizza. Another dish we enjoyed at the table was the grilled salmon which was said to be to die for. A few hiccups along the way, but it was still a place that I would refer people to dine in.

The Hawthorne is a very nice place. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is excellent with generous portions. They got the cook on the steak perfect and it was tender and tasty. My mom's pasta was just as good. Things are on the pricey side but are worth it. We're always taken to a table quickly even when they are busy. I love the decor and it's nice to spend an evening in downtown Labadie. This is definitely the nicest restaurant in the area. It'll take a few visits but I intend to try every pasta on the menu. They all sound delicious.

The roads have recently been changed in the area to facilitate parking and pedestrian traffic. I got confused at the corners and "discovered" the other bits of Labadie.

Our first visit and we loved it. Our waitress, Stephanie, was great and very knowledgeable. We ordered lasagna and a chicken dish and both were excellent. Lasagna was just liker my father once made. The desserts are also homemade.

A local dining and watering hole popular with bikers. It is a pleasant restaurant and bar in a quiet little off the highway community.
